ADHDailies 10: Jobs Posted on Dec 15, 2017, 10:12 am
Jobs, those things that hopefully make sure that we can eat and have a roof over our head. Getting a job is hard, for everyone, but many people with ADHD find both getting but also keeping a job one of the hardest things there is.

ADHDailies 13: Medication Posted on Dec 15, 2017, 10:12 am
This is a very sensitive topic for many people, and also a very controversial topic. I want to preface this post with the fact that I’m not a doctor and I do not have a medical degree. I’m just someone who is telling their experiences to share their own view.

ADHDailies 12: Love Posted on Dec 15, 2017, 1:12 am
Everyone wants to be loved. I make a living writing books about people falling in love and fighting everything to be together with the person, or persons, that they love. No matter where on the sexual or romantic spectrum you fall. The base emotion of loving and being loved is universal.

ADHDailies 11: K-Koud Posted on Dec 14, 2017, 11:12 am
A couple of days late, but I did take these pictures on the only actual day that we’ve had snow this winter yet. Snow isn’t that common in the Netherlands, and somehow, most of the Netherlands had been dealing with snow for the whole weekend, but we finally got some real snow on Monday.

Hobonichi 2018 haul!!! OMG!! Posted on Dec 14, 2017, 7:12 am
I’ve been waiting for months before I could order, but on Dec 1st, I could finally order my 2018 Hobonich planners! So, for the last months I’ve watched with envy as so many of my planner friends got their hauls in, but yesterday I finally received my yellow box!

ADHDailies 9: Issues Posted on Dec 9, 2017, 3:12 pm
This post is a little tongue-in-cheek. I went to Google and typed in ADHD I and the first one to show up was ‘ADHD issues’, so I guess I’m going with that, but let’s turn it a little on its head. We all know the issues that other people seem to point out when it comes to brains with ADHD, but let’s turn that on its head.

ADHDailies 8: Honesty Posted on Dec 9, 2017, 2:12 am
I’m not talking about honesty as the reverse of lies, I’m talking about honesty as the reality of my life. I filmed a video about the reality of what my week looks like after I’ve actually planned it. But there are so many more ways of honesty that get lost.

ADHDailies 7: Gamification Posted on Dec 8, 2017, 1:12 pm
As I was trying to come up with the topic for G, someone suggested to use Gamification, and I totally had to laugh. Of course. So much of my life is regulated by Gamification.

ADHDailies 6: Focus Posted on Dec 8, 2017, 12:12 am
For E, we talked about Executive Functioning and Tom Brown’s six clusters of Executive Functioning. His second cluster is Focus and is specified as “Focusing, sustaining and shifting attention to task”. This seems quite straight-forward, but let’s delve into it a little deeper.

ADHDailies 5: Executive Functioning Posted on Dec 7, 2017, 3:12 pm
Of course, the day I go off the rails is the day I wanted to talk about executive functioning… Executive Functioning is the ability to predict what is going to happen, to plan ahead but also to be able to change things in your plans depending on what is happening around you.

ADHDailies 4: Distractions Posted on Dec 4, 2017, 3:12 pm
I often tend to go off on tangents, both in text, but also in my life, especially when I’m working and find a rabbit hole of things I’m going to be doing or supposed to be doing.

ADHDailies 3: Christmas Tree Posted on Dec 3, 2017, 12:12 pm
The Holidailies are a holiday celebration event, and I did set up the Christmas tree last night… So, today’s word is Christmas Tree, yes, two words, don’t care…

ADHDailies 2: Bed Posted on Dec 2, 2017, 4:12 pm
Bed. Wait, what? Well, yeah. We all have to sleep at night, well hopefully at night… But something I see often with other people who have ADHD is that we don’t go to bed on time but also that we then don’t go to sleep on time.

ADHDailies 1: ADHD Posted on Dec 1, 2017, 9:12 am
This year, for the Holidailies event, I’ll be making an alphabetical list of ADHD related things. I’m focusing on writing 500 words per post (very ADHD friendly) and to go through the whole of the alphabet.

New Planner (3) Hobonichi Techo Cousin 2017 [unboxing and review] Posted on Dec 29, 2016, 11:12 am
I know that I was supposed to post about my planner choices earlier this month, and since I gave reviews of both the 365 Everyday Planner and the Slow and Steady planner, I was expecting to do that. But both planners had things that I didn't enjoy, so, against my better judgement, I ordered a Hobonichi somewhere last week. This is the Hobonichi Techo Cousin, which is the bigger A5 version. Today it arrived, so here is my review!

Holidailies 22: Cooking for Christmas Posted on Dec 22, 2016, 3:12 pm
Today we went shopping and I’ve been cooking ever since. Here are some of the recipes!

Holidalies 21: Writing Layouts in my Bullet Journal Posted on Dec 21, 2016, 12:12 pm
I posted about my author planner yesterday, but that is only half of my work process. The other half are layouts or spreads in my daily Bullet Journal. So, this is a post about those pages that let me get work done on a day-to-day base.

Holidailies 20: My Work Planner as an Author Posted on Dec 20, 2016, 1:12 pm
Since we’re going into the new year, I’ve been reviewing my planner systems. One thing that I’ve been seeing a lot of is people trying to find new ways to perfect their planning systems. In a lot of author communities I’ve also seen the need to get to see some author planners, so here is mine.

Holidailies 19: Slow Day Posted on Dec 19, 2016, 2:12 pm
Not a long post today, I’ve got a really bad headache and everything just hurts. I’ve got loads of ideas for posts, but they’re not happening right now. But there are a few things that I’d like to chat about today, so here goes!

Holidailies 18: Weekly Food Planning: Making Your Own Recipe Book (in a Disk Bound System) Posted on Dec 18, 2016, 3:12 pm
In this day and age, most people will probably find their recipes online. I love that I can just search some ingredients and get a whole host of recipes to make with them. You can, of course, make this in other systems too, but my examples will use a disk bound system as I like the versatility of it.

Holidailies 17: Notebook organisational tip, indexing/table of contents Posted on Dec 17, 2016, 5:12 pm
An important part of the Bullet Journal system is the Index or Table of Contents at the beginning of the book. Because the idea is to take the next page in your notebook for every idea you have, things can get confusing fast. These ideas can also be used in other notebooks and systems.

Holidailies 16: Food Friday: Pasta Sauce Recipe Posted on Dec 16, 2016, 10:12 am
Today a post I’ve been meaning to write for a while now. My favourite healthy pasta sauce recipe that I absolutely adore! If you’ve been following some of my Food Planning posts, you know that I like to cook in bulk, and this is a perfect recipe for that! This recipe is cheap, healthy and easy, but does require a little preparation. It also makes a great and chunky soup for cold or lazy days.

Holidailies 15: New Planner (2) 365 Everyday Planner Posted on Dec 15, 2016, 5:12 pm
My second planner came in the mail today!! Here is a short review of it. I’ll have to compare it side to side with the Slow and Steady planner later. So, here is the 365 Everyday Planner.

Holidailies 14: Notebook Organisational Tip, Edge Markers Posted on Dec 14, 2016, 1:12 pm
Today a quick and useful post. When you use notebooks and planners for different subjects, you can easily get lost trying to find the correct pages. So, if you use a system where you can’t move the pages around, like a Bullet Journal, or a system where you simply need ways to distinguish different topics within a larger system, this is for you!

Holidailies 13: Quick Guide to Bullet Journaling Posted on Dec 13, 2016, 3:12 pm
I know that Bullet Journaling is one of the main subjects of this blog, which is why I thought it a good idea to actually make a guide on how to Bullet Journal in a back-to-basics way. Most of the pictures and posts I show on this blog are from me using this system for nearly a year now, but I thought it a good idea to also show my own beginnings. Let’s begin.

Holidailies 12: My New Creative Trial, Fusion Beads Posted on Dec 12, 2016, 4:12 pm
Last week, before I went to the island I got these beauties in the mail. I was looking for something new and saw a Christmas themed video with these fusion beads, so I had to have them!

Holidailies 11: Winter Sea Posted on Dec 11, 2016, 1:12 pm
I’ve spent the last weekend on one of the Dutch islands and while there is something about returning home, the sea is just so beautiful that I had to share with you all.

Holidailies 10: Starter Fountain Pens Posted on Dec 10, 2016, 5:12 pm
Everybody knows how I love my fountain pens. To some people it’s an art form, and I do agree on that, but for me, there is also an element of comfort as I write with one. So, for people who are curious about fountain pens and where to start, here are some ideas.

Holidailies 9: Food Friday - Easy and Healthy Oven Recipe Posted on Dec 9, 2016, 3:12 pm
Today I’m sharing one of my favourite winter recipes. It doesn’t really have a name, we call it “veggies from the oven”, but it’s a lot more than that, it also includes carbs and meat. It’s easy, warm, healthy and relatively fast, depending on your idea of fast. Also, it’s cheap!

Holidailies 8: Pen Test Pages Posted on Dec 8, 2016, 3:12 pm
In a lot of planner communities, especially Bullet Journal communities, the first question people ask is “I’ve got the notebook everyone loves, what’s the first thing I should do?” Well, my answer is always “make a pen test page at the back of your notebook”. It’s probably *the* most important thing to do when you buy any new notebook, but especially one where you may want to use different types of pens in. I’ll explain why, with pictures!

Holidailies 7: Stickers and Planning Supplies Posted on Dec 7, 2016, 2:12 pm
Apparently good things like to happen together, and today that is a beautiful stack of envelopes with stickers and other planning thingies!

Holidailies 6: New Planner (1) Slow and Steady 4 Months Daily Planner Posted on Dec 6, 2016, 1:12 pm
Today I got some very pretty mail and since I’m not sure when the other one will come in, I’m sharing some pics of this planner first. This will be my first pre-printed planner in years.

Holidailies 5: Traveling Posted on Dec 5, 2016, 8:12 am
Today is all about traveling, I'm leaving London and going back home. I'm tired, and cold and probably a day away from catching some bug. But here are some thoughts about the weekend and the week ahead.

Holidailies 4: Weekly Layout Posted on Dec 4, 2016, 3:12 pm
Every couple of weeks I try a new weekly layout, this week its based on a new planner I'm getting in.

Holidailies 3: Planner Travel Kit Posted on Dec 3, 2016, 5:12 am
As a companion post to yesterday’s Author Travel Kit, today I’m talking about my planner travel kit.

Holidailies 2: Author Travel Kit Posted on Dec 2, 2016, 12:12 pm
Day two, and since I'm not at home and don't have all my pics here for some of the posts I'd like to do I'm writing about one of the things I do have with me, my author travel kit.

Holidailies 1: December plans Posted on Dec 1, 2016, 3:12 pm
So many things this month, I'm not at home for at least two weekends (I'm on my way to London right now), I've got lots of deadlines as an author, I've been using the Bullet Journal for a year this month, and I've got all sorts of planners, stickers and other planning things coming in. So, today I'd like to talk a bit about everything, to start off easy.
