Photographic Evidence: Scarf 2 : This scarf took 1/4 or 1/5 the time as scarf one. It’s made with fatter needles and much chunkier yarn. I like it, though. It will definitely keep the midwest recipient warm! This was so incredibly easy to make. (posted Dec 23, 10:59am)

Pain : I’ve had problems with my back for the past twenty years. Wow. When I put it that way, I’m really old. (posted Dec 21, 8:03am)

More Feet Drama : So you’ve already heard the story about how wussy my feet are. I can’t wear high heels, and I get blisters extremely easily. Yadda yadda yadda. A perfect example is from yesterday. (posted Dec 20, 2:38pm)

Photographic Evidence: Love : I know we're not supposed to have favorites, but he was here first. (posted Dec 19, 10:18am)

Everyone Sees You on the Internet : Here’s the thing. Even though I don’t publish this address anywhere else, nor have I told anyone about this blog except the hubster, I know there’s still a likelihood that some people I know will find it. I think you should expect that from the get-go. If you don’t, you need to be intelligent about hiding your identity. (posted Dec 18, 10:12pm)

100 Rows of Yarn : It’s official – this scarf is slowly driving me insane. (posted Dec 17, 10:51pm)

Hey Look! Another Post About Knitting… : When you spend so much of your free time knitting, that’s the only thing to talk about that’s going on in your life. (posted Dec 16, 11:42pm)

Who's on First -- 2009 Style : This is the text conversation I had with hubby tonight. I have a new phone, which is supposed to have better texting. What do you think? (posted Dec 16, 7:47am)

Shopping in 2009 : If it weren’t for Amazon, I’m sure I’d have an ulcer by now this holiday season. I have bought exactly zero gifts ‘in person’ so far, and that’s the way I plan to keep it. (posted Dec 14, 12:59pm)

Knitting for Procrastinators : Last year I learned to knit. I wanted to knit a baby blanket for my new niece, and there is a knitting group at work. We meet every other week, and knit and gossip. So the baby blanket was a bad idea, because it was taking forever before I’d see progress. I never finished it; it’s still in my desk ... (posted Dec 13, 11:51pm)

Cats (2) Tree (0) : I came up with a brilliant plan last night. I would only put garland around the top 1/2 of the tree, so the terrible cats would leave it alone (and so the tree wouldn’t be so bare). I’m sorry, tree. (posted Dec 12, 5:21pm)

Heaven on Earth : We will be in the beautiful Virgin Islands within two weeks. I needed to find a pic and post it to remind my body that it will be nice and warm soon. It’s actually freezing here in NJ/NY. I’m fighting off a cold, but better now than on vacation… and even then… (posted Dec 11, 10:43am)

Holiday Party Time : Between our two jobs, there is one holiday party. To say there is a difference in entertainment budgets between our jobs is an understatement. Hubby’s company had extra money in their budget, so sent them to the Caribbean. Our team outing consisted of pizza in one of the conference rooms (posted Dec 10, 6:35pm)

Cats (1) Tree (0) : Last night we (OK, I) put the lights and two different types of garland on the tree. The thinking was that we’d see how the little beasts did with that much, before we progressed to actual ornaments. The title of this post says it all. (posted Dec 9, 2:48pm)

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree : There are some Christmas traditions from my youth that I treasure. Cutting down our own Christmas tree. We’d stomp around quite a bit, looking for the perfect tree. Sometimes through the slush, sometimes through the snow. Either way, but the end of the adventure our fingertips were numb and our noses were red. But we were always smiling at the ... (posted Dec 8, 9:59am)
