Catchy Name Needed by Mel (16)
Wandering around SWTOR : I trekked back to town to the spaceport, got on my ship, made the jump to the fleet, got off the ship again, and ran through the cantina at the center of the spaceport (don't ask me why, but that's where you come out when you get off your ship) and halfway across the spaceport to the trainer. Cards, part 2 : I was very unusually organized that year, generally, which not coincidentally was the same year my mother died - we had moved right before that and we were dealing with the estate stuff, too, so I had had to be. I guess you have to know me to know how unusual that is. (posted Jan 1, 11:35pm)

Cards : Just what it says. With lots of pictures. (posted Dec 30, 6:24pm)

Hardware and software : ...they were making jokes about that Sears catchphrase on the first episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and that was in, what, 1997? (Is it a bad thing that I know what jokes are in the first episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer? Nah, probably nobody that's reading this is likely to think it is.) (posted Dec 29, 2:12pm)

Crafting, game-style : The 2nd companion came with the ship, and is a droid. He says lots of comically servile things, C-3PO style, which I can't remember enough of to quote right now. (posted Dec 28, 3:32pm)

Cruises : My life kind of revolves around boats these days, a bit. I can sure tell you a lot more about tankers and tugboats than I could six months ago, believe me. (posted Dec 27, 10:28pm)

Shellac for the holidays, and other bits of Xmas : I know it's not the most important thing about Christmas, but the first thing I want to talk about is that my cousin shellaced my nails (shellacked? I dunno). (posted Dec 25, 10:33pm)

Winter Wonderland, or something like that : I cried through Hugo on Sunday, more than was really warranted, that was the first sign there, and then Monday in the Starbuck's drive-through the lady in front of me paid for me, and I barely got away from the window before I burst into tears again. With Christmas breathing down my neck... : LJ says this is Bah Humbug! Day. I can see why. (posted Dec 21, 12:29pm)

Bits and pieces from The Old Republic : I'll shut up about SWTOR in a couple of days. Probably. (posted Dec 20, 11:29am)

Early access : The Sith trainer says, when you talk to her, "You desire more power? Good." and then when you're finished she says, "Remember - peace is a lie." (In her very posh Alec Guinness-y accent.) (posted Dec 17, 2:23pm)

Holiday cheer : I may still be sending card out into the new year at this rate, but oh well. (posted Dec 15, 11:46pm)

No early access : Sorry, another game-related entry! (In which I whine about lack of SWTOR access, and then talk about Glitch instead.) (posted Dec 14, 11:36pm)

Gloom and doom : I'm working part-time in an office with a lovely view of expensive boats, and that's great, but I don't seem to notice the boats, half the time - I notice the weather instead. (posted Dec 14, 12:04am)

SWTOR, Holidailies, and a link : The schedule problem is because I am neither (a) working 8-5 M-F like I used to nor (b) unemployed, like I was more recently. I don't like missing out but quite honestly, I don't miss the aforesaid days of working 8-5 M-F, either. (posted Dec 11, 6:28pm)
