Happy New Year : The holidays are great, but it's kind of like setting of a bomb in my head and my thoughts scatter away and refuse to be collected. (posted Jan 4, 10:20am)

A Simple Christmas : Best of Holidailies Back home, there was apple pie and hot tea before bed, then snuggling down into warm sheets and comforters for a 'long winter's nap'. (posted Dec 28, 9:26am)

Chilled : The whirling tornado of white stuff was so thick it looked almost like smoke, especially when combined with the scent of burning rubber the entire length of the train exuded as it passed. (posted Dec 21, 9:03pm)

Just a Little Holiday Moment : Lying curled up with his brother, Julien slept peacefully, one small hand curled up in a light fist near his face. His face was relaxed in sleep, eyelashes impossibly long against the pale skin of his cheeks. (posted Dec 16, 10:15pm)

Guess who's coming for Christmas? : "Guess who's coming for Christmas?" I said to Vic as we sat in the darkened car with my mother making our way to pick up Julien. (posted Dec 15, 7:55am)

Hitting the Fs : With each successive one that passed and floated right out of my mouth instead of cracking or just plain dying an early death without ever making out, I felt more and more confident that the next would come out fine. (posted Dec 14, 7:52am)

Driving Rain : If it had just been a little bit colder, we'd have 20 inches of snow and a snow day for the kids likely. That's got its own issues of course, but I think the boys would've had a blast sledding down the driveway and building forts in the back yard. (posted Dec 9, 8:12am)
