Noah's 6th Month : I swore with my next child, it would be baby-led all the way. There would be no spoon feeding mashed foods in our house! (posted Jan 5, 10:10pm)

A mid day's walk : Whenever either of them cry she jumps into action and races to find the source of their distress. She’s always by my side when I greet Elias in the morning and likes to jump up on his bed to say good morning to him. (posted Jan 3, 7:49pm)

The End of Christmas. Sort of. : The night time routine has been so so difficult since giving up the pacifier. Letting him stay up later doesn’t seem to help matters either. (Not to mention, when he stays up to 10-11pm, he’s still up at the butt crack of dawn anyway, so he’s not getting the same amount of sleep.) (posted Jan 2, 4:42pm)

Happy New Year! : He’s sleeping like such a big boy lately! He used to always sleep with his arms and legs tucked under his tummy, butt up in the air. Now he sleeps flat on his stomach with his arms and legs out to the sides. (posted Jan 1, 1:42pm)

Resolutions for 2010 : In the past three years my life has changed so quickly I haven’t really had much time to reflect or set goals for myself. I was in survival mode and just did my best to get through each day. (posted Dec 31, 7:44pm)

First RAW Results : I am totally sold on shooting in RAW! Some of the shots I got of Elias yesterday are just unbelievably crisp, even at 200% magnification. (posted Dec 30, 7:31pm)

Elias phrases : From listening to others talk about similarly aged children, Elias has never seemed very advanced in language, so this explosion of communication is very reassuring. (posted Dec 29, 8:00pm)

Monkey Joe's : lias clogged the entrance way and wouldn’t make a decision to go in or back down. This little boy no older than four didn’t want to wait for him and climbed in overtop of him. Elias was startled as it was happening, however I could tell the little boy was trying to be gentle. Once in, he turned around, cupped ... (posted Dec 28, 10:58pm)

Unblogged in December : Some stars aligned a couple of days ago and somehow Elias was just distracted enough to color with me, but leave my page alone. (posted Dec 24, 3:19pm)

No, don't do that! : This week, he’s all about saying, “No, don’t do that!” He commands this constantly. It certainly makes me think about what we’ve been saying to him; he probably hears it a lot. (posted Dec 23, 8:36pm)

Cookies : Mark says I picked bad recipes and I’m inclined to agree with him. I’d love to make some cookies again soon if only to prove to myself that I can make cookies from scratch that don’t suck. (posted Dec 22, 10:41am)

Napless Lunacy : Today has been crazy and exhausting. Without his nap, Elias has been nothing short of a little lunatic. I guess he got a second wind and he’s been running all over the place. (posted Dec 21, 4:51pm)

The End of the Paci? : He took a little longer to fall asleep, but unlike yesterday, he did fall asleep for a nap. I think tonight’s probably going to go similarly as far as getting to sleep, but I’m not sure how he’ll sleep through the night without the pacifier. (posted Dec 20, 4:44pm)

This counts : Noah ate up SO much of my night! He was overstimulated and just so cute, but frustrating because he acted tired out in the living area, then babbled and kicked and smiled in the darkness (posted Dec 19, 10:54pm)

Complain complain complain : I finished my cookies while writing this entry. I'll have pictures and the recipe up tomorrow. (posted Dec 18, 9:59pm)

In the Year 2010 : I want 2010 to become a year where I set out to and achieve specific goals both professionally and personally. I want to have a lot on my plate and get it all done with a smile on my face. I know it’s going to be hard, but nothing worthwhile isn’t; I’ve definitely learned that from having two babies in ... Corrupted : I got a couple of pictures of Elias tonight, but Windows gave me a blue screen of death when I went to import them and when I rebooted, the photo files were corrupt. (posted Dec 11, 7:58pm)

2009 in Review: Part I : In short, it’s been a very tough year. We moved, added a new addition to our clan and lost half our income when Mark’s contract wasn’t extended. It has not been an unhappy year, however I hope 2010 treats us better overall. (posted Dec 7, 3:13pm)
