Condensed milk and It's Complicated : I wondered through the isles, checking my list, looking for a few extra items that would make the week easier. An owl on the wishing tree. : Each person that attends is asked to put up their desire for the new year. She saves them and put them up year after year. It is interesting to see how lives changed throughout the years by reading those notes. (posted Jan 1, 7:02pm)

The sink cabinet is together and ready to go in. : It’s our secret, that there is a blemish on the back side of the cabinet where I couldn’t get a nail out. I grumbled a bit when I nicked the panel, but if you can’t see it, it should matter right? (posted Dec 21, 6:20am)

It wasn’t the sink, but the glass wall cabinet. : When we got to the house, we agreed it was too late in the day to tackle the sink so we worked on the glass wall cabinet. It took a bit of work to get it together. (posted Dec 20, 8:52am)

It’s Black, the toaster that is. : It looks like the coffee pot will have to go back to the big box store. I paid a bit too much for it, and when I got it home and plugged it in, the clock doesn’t work. Not a big deal there are other clocks in the kitchen (posted Dec 15, 8:05am)

It was a day to sleep, read, relax and call someone out. : I hopped on the computer and found someone on line that supposedly was my dream date. I mentioned that the on line dating site had a free weekend last week. Well Mr. Dream date apparently wasn’t all that. (posted Dec 14, 6:44am)

A few steps make a huge difference. : The shelf unit went in fine; it looks great in its spot. The cabinet and microwave was much more difficult to hang than I thought. It’s like that with construction projects: always a trick or a complication. (posted Dec 13, 2:12pm)
