The sixth annual Holidailies collaborative project ran from December 7, 2005 through January 6, 2006. During the 31 days of Holidailies 2005, a total of 3297 entries posted to the portal—our biggest year yet.

A total of 250 people registered to participate in Holidailies 2005. 125 of those people participated on the Holidailies portal. The remainder registered as "Holidailies at Home" users.

Two popular additions from Holidailies 2004 were continued on Holidailies 2005. One was a "Holidailies at Home" registration, for people who want to try the Holidailies challenge without necessarily posting to the Holidailies portal.

The Holidailies readers panel was another popular feature continued from 2004. The readers panel was a group of illustrious online journal and blog writers who agreed to review all of the portal entries and to select the most notable and interesting writing. We featured their choices as "Best of Holidailies" selections.
